All those posts on my Facebook page with my fabulous, long and always perfectly manicured nails… Well I used to bite my nails. Yes, 6 years ago, back when I was 19, I used to bite my nails out of stress and they looked ugly U-G-L-Y!!
But then, one day an old friend at AUB (American University of Beirut) -Rita Rmeily yes you- told me in an MIS class that it looks ugly and unappealing. Long story short, it was the last time I did bite my nails.
So how do you stop biting your nails and get fabulous nails, here’s my way:
1- Look at your peeled nails and realize that they look horrible. Yes they do, no negotiations.
2- Realize that you are 2 weeks aways from classy looking hands and fabulous nails.
3- Get a friend who would kick your ass when you bite your nails or peel them.
4- Get this friend to kick your ass over 2 weeks and to supervise you.
5- Find an alternative to biting your nails, carry a stress ball.
6- Cover your nails with a vitaminated nails’ hardener over the first period; remove and re-apply every 48 hours.
7- 2 weeks down the line, visit a nails’ bar and get your nails perfectly done, even if they are still short.
8- Look at your nails, aren’t they nicer looking now?
9-Remember point 8 and look at your much classier hands before trying to put your nails in your mouth from now on.
